Search for Crashed Aircraft Not Yielded Results Yet
Baku / 07.25.19 / Turan: The search for the crashed MiG-29 aircraft of the Azerbaijani Air Force and its pilot has not yielded results as of 5:00 pm Thursday.
The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and a group consisting of representatives of relevant structures and services, visited the operational headquarters, established to investigate the causes of the crash and the necessary activities.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, an official meeting was held under the leadership of Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov. The Minister gave appropriate instructions in connection with the continuation of interaction with other government agencies.
Communication with the MiG-29 aircraft that performed the night training flight was lost the day before at 10 pm, and it disappeared from the radar. According to the preliminary version, it fell into the sea.
