Second Stage of Free All Campaign
Baku / 02.04.19 / Turan: A new campaign has begun on social networks calling for the release of political prisoners under the hash-tag # hamısınıAZADet #freethemALL. One of its initiators, Rasul Jafarov, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"Our main goal and appeal is unchanged - to release all political prisoners!" Jafarov wrote. He encouraged users to take an active part in the campaign. This can be done by distributing short video downloads of up to 30 seconds, posters, signing a petition, which will be distributed on April 2, writing appeals in the accounts of officials on social networks.
Recall that according to the lists of human rights organizations, even after pardon on March 16, from 74 to 87 political prisoners remain in Azerbaijani prisons.
The first stage of the "Free all!" campaign was held on the eve of the Novruz holiday and for the holiday, in accordance with the pardon order, 52 political prisoners were released. -03B06--

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony. Starting from November 25, dedicated traffic lanes allocated for COP29 conference participants will lose their exclusive status and will be open to all vehicles, according to the Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
