Shahbaz Guliyev, admitted killing a teenager (UPDATED)
At the trial in Khankendy, a man from Kelbajar, Shahbaz Guliyev, gave testimonies. Speaking poor Russian language he reported that he has known Dilgam Askerov since 1992. They met again in 2004 in Russia, and then Asgerov offered him to go to Karabakh. Hasan Hasanov met Guliyev in 2013, brought him weapon, and they three went to Kalbajar.
"They were filming something. I do not know, and I'm not interested," said Guliyev. Then the defendant told in details how the group was going in the region, spent the night near the rivers, and picked fruit. Guliyev did not see a moment of kidnapping a teenager Smbat Tsakalyan. He further said that Asgerov suggested killing the teenager. Guliyev does not know who shot the teen.
The group reached Kalbajar, and Asgerov went around the city with camera, but he was noticed. They met a boy with a dog, and Guliyev lied that he was from Georgia, and his name was Alex. Then the boy's father came up to them, and offered tea or coffee. Then came two men, one in uniform and one in civilian clothes. According to Guliyev, a man in civilian clothes attacked him, further he does not remember.
The second defendant , Dilgam Asgerov, does not resemble a man on the photo, taken in July. -02D-

Trial of two Azerbaijanis, Dilgam Askerov and Shahbaz Guliyev, began in Karabakh on October 27. These persons were arrested in July in the territory of Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenians. The Armenian side announced their members subversive group, and accused of espionage, murder and kidnapping locals. There was another man with them named Hasan Hasanov, who was killed in a shootout with the Armenians.
Guliyev and Asgerov were brought to court, accompanied by special forces with their eyes closed. According to the Armenian media, both are strongly skinny. And the man who is presented as Shahbaz Guliyev, is quite unlike him. This frail and thin man who looks absolutely nothing like the photo of Askerov that the Armenian side published after the arrest in July.
It is also noteworthy that in court, sitting on the same bench Asgerov and Guliyev do not communicate, and do not even look at each other. Usually people who do not know each other behave like this.-02D-

Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
