Sheikh appeals to Tehran with request to release the Azerbaijani writers
"I have appealed to the Iranian authorities with request to release the Azerbaijani writers after it happened," Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazade, said Turan commenting on the calls by the public of Azerbaijan on his participation in the campaign to liberate Shahriyar Hajizade and Farid Hussein.
According to him, it was two weeks after the arrest of writers, in the middle of May. "I think that they were detained by mistake and unjustified, they should be released and returned to the Motherland," said the sheikh.
