Sheikh Oppose Religious Processions in Ashura
The Council of Ghazis adopted a fatwa in connection with the start of mourning of Muharram, which begins on November 5. Ashura of this year (10th day of Muharram) falls on November 14.
In Ashura it is strictly forbidden to carry out illegal processions. To carry out certain activities, you can use the mosques and their yards, Sheikh Pashazadeh said and reminded that there are about two thousand mosques and that is enough.
Such a statement demonstrates the concern of the possibility of confrontation of believers with the forces of law and the rising tensions in connection with arrests and trials against believers in recent times. -16/05D-
