Sheikh said, Threat of External Forces
At the Wednesday meeting of the Council of Ghazis to inaugurate the mourning month of Muharram, Sheikh Pashazadeh said there is a presence of external forces trying to push various religious groups in Azerbaijan.
"Sunnis and Shiites, and representatives of other currents have to pray together and co-exist. Today's tolerance in Azerbaijan and inter-religious relations here are a model for the whole world. However, there are forces that want to break it," Pashazadeh said, without specifying who these forces are.
According to him, these forces do not want Azerbaijan to continue this stability and they are trying to sow discord and confrontation. "We should not create conditions for this," he said. -16/05D-
