A resident of Sheki Ilham Mammadov, born in 1983, died in an explosion in his apartment last night around 00.30.
His brother, Elman Mammadov, born in 1987 was seriously injured and his leg was amputated at the district hospital.
According to preliminary information from law enforcement agencies, the explosion occurred as a result of a gas leak.
It is noteworthy that the explosion did not cause a fire. Among the locals there are rumors that the accident was caused by an explosive. It is alleged that the brothers were followers of a radical religious movement. -06C –
