The General Prosecutor's Office issued a message in connection with the brutal murder of a 20-year-old girl in Baku on October 22.
According to the report, 20-year-old Gunel Nuriyeva was found dead with signs of violence in her apartment in the Khatai district of Baku at 16:00.
In the course of investigations the sister of the killed, Parvana Nuriyeva was detained as a suspect.
A criminal case was initiated under article 120.1 (deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code.
