Six Azerbaijani Taekwondo Athletes Punished for Doping
Baku / 10.31.18 / Turan: Six Azerbaijani taekwondo athletes have been sanctioned for doping. This is stated in a message published on the website of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA).
Thus, Javid Huseynov, Samir Maharramov, Yunis Mammadzadeh, Shams Isayeva, Nargiz Mirzoyeva and Ophelia Allahverdiyeva were disqualified for 12 months after the banned substance furosemid was detected in their analyzes.
All athletes are members of the youth teams of Azerbaijan. Earlier, 25 Azerbaijani athletes did not pass the doping test and were punished by AMADA. -05B06-
