Baku/03.04.23/Turan: On April 2, border guards detained six people while trying to illegally cross from Azerbaijan to Iran.
According to the State Border Service, the incident was recorded near the village of Shahsevan, Beylagan region, where a resident of the Geygel region, Azer Pashayev, and a resident of Salyan region, Elnur Muradov, were detained.
During the inspection, it was found that 4 more people arrived at the specified place by car. In the course of operational activities, two people were detained in a car that left this place – a resident of Jalilabad, Agyl Shahmarli, and a resident of Goygol, Royal Kazimov.
Then the border guards detained two more in the immediate vicinity of the border. They were residents of Geygel region, Rafail Askerov, and a resident of Terter region , Orkhan Azimov.
The detainees admitted that they intended to go to Iran to return with a batch of drugs. An investigation is underway into the fact. ---0---
