Sixty Stores Burned in Sadarak Shopping Center
Baku / 18.02.20 / Turan: Early in the morning of February 18, a fire broke out in the largest shopping center of the capital, Sadarak. According to the Ministry of Emergencies, the fire was extinguished at 9:05. The firefighting service, civil defense forces, employees of the special risk rescue service and two helicopters took part in the extinguishing.
According to the Ministry of Emergencies, 23 units of special equipment and 125 people were involved in the firefighting, which lasted more than an hour. The fire destroyed about 1 thousand square meters. The causes have not yet been established, the representative of the Ministry of Emergencies said.
Workers at the mall told Turan that the fire engulfed the eighth row, with 60 shops damaged. According to the merchants themselves, the cause of the fire is a short circuit.
Nine victims were provided with medical care on the spot. One victim was placed in the First Clinical Center. -03B-
