A number of restaurants and cafes in the State Historical-Architectural Reserve Icheri Sheher (Inner City or Old City, the historical center of Baku) have introduced restrictions and prohibitions on smoking.
It regards the restaurants Karvansaray, Old City, Le Cafe, Shur, Mangal, Buta, Sultan Inn, and Garage Iskender. According to a report from the Office of Icheri Sheher, these restaurants were categorized "smoking" and "non-smoking."
If a restaurant or cafe is a single room, smoking inside is strictly forbidden. In the future, restrictions and a ban on smoking will be extended to all restaurants and cafes in the Inner City. -03D04-

The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
