Social activists condemn the arrest of H.Ismaylova
Famous public figures and representatives of civil society unequivocally condemn the arrest of well-known journalist Khadija Ismayilova.
"The real reason for her arrest is not a far-fetched incitement to suicide, but her journalistic work," said the head of the Committee to Protect Oil Workers Rights, Mirvari Gahramanli.
She noted that every day there are attempts to suicide on the bridge "Koroglu", attempts of self-immolation, but so far, the authorities have never arrested those who brought people to suicide. Why did they show such "efficiency" in this case? How can a person be arrested at the request of an inappropriate person? All this confirms the unfounded and false accusations, she said.
Member of the National Council Gultakin Hajibeyli believes that the "victim", which was driven to suicide, in fact, is psychologically unhealthy people.
Tural Mustafayev divorced his former wife because of psychological problems. His new bride left him after she realized that he was sick.
" For a long time he was treated in a psychiatric hospital, at one time burned his car and made other inappropriate actions. As for the so-called suicide attempt, it happened in front of people on the boulevard. A person commits suicide, will not dilute the poison with yogurt. That is, in fact, it was a show," she said.
Well-known lawyer, Aslan Ismailov on his Facebook page wrote that he believes that the arrest of Ismaylova a continuation of the trend of intimidation and destruction of dissent in the country.
Political scientist Arastun Orujlu called the arrest of journalist "indicator dangerous strategy of the authorities."The ruling regime slips into a serious crisis, he said. -03/04В-
