A soldier Vusal Aliyev of the Azerbaijan National Army was killed on the contact line as a result of firing from a sniper rifle by the enemy.
The incident occurred on July 5 at about 12.30, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported. The message did not specify in what direction of the front the Azerbaijani soldier was killed.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry charged the military and political leadership of Armenia with the responsibility for the consequences of the provocation at the front.
The Defense Ministry expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. -16d-
