A soldier of the Guard Regiment of the Prison Service Vasif Suleymanov injured himself from his automatic gun. As Turan reported, referring to the public relations department of the Prison Service, the incident occurred as a result of careless handling of the weapon and security breaches.
The soldier was wounded in the leg and hospitalized. The investigation is underway.

On January 29, municipal elections were held in Azerbaijan, with over 16,000 candidates participating across 118 constituencies. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has already announced the names of the leading candidates on its website.
