Special Operation against Nontraditional Religious Movements
In the Guba region in the north of Azerbaijan a raid was carried out in order to identify people belonging to a religious movement banned by law, reported the press service of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the same source, during the operation, it was found that the adherents of this movement (which is not named) hold their meetings in the Talabygyshlag village in Joshghun Mirzoyev’s house.
The participants, residents of the area Madat Sadiyev, Mikail Amrahov, Hafiz Gyulmaliyev, Vilayat Bagirov, Firuz Bayramov, Heydar Dadashov, Fuad Atayev and Samir Babayev from Baku were detained.
With respect to the detainees a report was made under the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Offences. After giving the evidence, the detainees were released. -16D-
