On Tuesday, the head of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Elshad Iskandarov presented his department's new website - http://www.scwra.gov.az/. According to Iskandarov, the new site will help to ensure a more efficient relationship between religious communities and the media.
The site was designed to provide information to public about state policy in the sphere of religion, history of religion, religious structures, religious and historical monuments, and on the activities of the State Committee.
The site has information about mosques, churches, synagogues, Albanian monuments, and pilgrimage destinations in the territory of Azerbaijan. -02D-
