State Security Chief: 900 Azerbaijani Citizens Have Joined Terrorists
About 900 Azerbaijani citizens have got involved in terrorist groups in different parts of the world. The data were reported by the head of the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev, speaking at the conference The Role of Youth in the Fight against Terrorism, Extremism and Radicalism today.
Many of these young people died and most were arrested. Last year alone, 54 people were deprived of the Azerbaijani citizenship, Guliyev said.
