Torrential rains caused damage to a number of settlements in Ismayilli, Agsu and Goychay regions. According to the MOE, some neighborhoods of Ismayilli were flooded. The MOE was pumping water.
The rains also caused rivers to flood. A strong mudslide washed away the auxiliary road bridge, causing traffic restrictions on the route Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh.
Currently, the scope of the damage has not been calculated.
Meanwhile, according to weather forecasters, on May 31 the weather in the capital and regions will be variably cloudy and mainly dry. The temperature will be +14 to +19 degrees at night, and +25 to +30 degrees in the daytime
Similar weather is expected in low-lying areas, where in places the temperature will reach 32 degrees. In the mountain areas at night it is expected to be +6 to +11 degrees and during the day - +15 to +20 deg. -16D06-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
