Subway and bus fares have increased in Azerbaijan
In Azerbaijan, the cost of passenger transportation in the metro and intracity and intradistrict routes has increased.
The metro fare has been increased by 0.1 AZN and will be 0.5 AZN.
Also, the upper limit of tariffs for passenger transportation services on regular intracity (intradistrict) bus routes has been set at 0.5 AZN.
Previously, the fare for these services was 0.4 AZN.
Tariffs for one-way transportation on the Baku-Sumgayit bus route also increased by 0.1 AZN to 0.7 AZN.
On suburban bus routes, the upper limit of the tariff for passenger transportation will be 0.37 AZN per 1 km.
The decision to increase tariffs was made by the board of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
