Swindlers as collectors of donation
A group of individuals is demonstrating, giving people leaflets written in an Arabic language and collecting money. They say that they are collecting funds for charity on behalf of the mosque "Azhdarbey."
This is fraud, Turan was told by the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), which has received several calls from citizens asking for an explanation on what kind of charity it is. Swindlers say that the money will buy products that will be given to poor people. The mosque “Azhdarbey” reported that such actions have never been carried out. All of the charity in this mosque is from its own resources.
This kind of fraud is very common. Thus, for a long time, the CMO did not react to the bins for collecting donations in front of every mosque. Some time later, it was stated that they are not relevant to the mosques. It is not clear who collected the donations and on what they were spent. -05B04-
