Tensions Observed in Mingachevir after Local Resident Died in Police Station
The death of the local resident Bahruz Hajiyev in Mingachevir Police Office has caused indignation of his relatives.
According to local sources, two people were detained with Hajiyev.
However, after the relatives of the detainees gathered in front of the police, two of the three detainees were released.
The next day it became known that B. Hajiyev jumped from the 3rd floor and died. The press service of the Interior Ministry claims that the detainee threw himself during the questioning and the examination confirmed that the body had no signs of torture.
Police arrested Hajiyev and two others on suspicion of drug use. It is not known if the police suspicions were true and convincing, but the fact of Hajiyev’s death under strange circumstances is obvious.
The funeral of the deceased will be held on August 22. Against the background of what happened, dissatisfaction with the actions of the police is growing in the city. This is facilitated by the pictures of the body of the deceased, in which, according to relatives, there are traces of torture. -05B-

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
