The action of protest of students of the Pedagogical University
On Monday, approximately 500 students of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical University, named after Tusi, held a protest in the courtyard of the university.
The students were protesting against the fact that all the semester examinations shall be in the form of tests and in writing. Students want to take only test method exams, and consider that written exams are a means of extortion.
An hour after the protest, the university rector, Yusif Mammadov , promised the students to consider their demands. At the same time, he noted that the procedure for the written examinations had not yet been approved.
The students persisted on chanting "Test, Test!" However, the rector said that the students will pass examinations as previously. However, the students said that if their demands are not met, they will continue actions of protest.—05C06--
