An imprisoned employee of the newspaper "Azadlig" Seymour Hazy, accused of hooliganism, wasplaced to a punishment ward, according to his lawyer Adil Ismailov.
He said that on Jnaury 15 the father of the journalist took a parcel for him, but the parcel was not tken, and he was told that his son was placed to the punishment cell.
The lawyer intends to clarify on January 16 the reasons for the punishment of a journalist.
Hazi was arrested on trumped-up charges of hooliganism on August 29, 2014. The journalist denies the charges, and says it is politically motivated, and linked to his journalistic activity.-16D-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
