The arrested youth activists file an appeal
Six young activists arrested administratively for participating in a protest on December 29 at Fountain Square in Baku appeal against their arrest on January 7. The lawyer said that young people are still complain of bad food in the prison.
Previously the young people went on a hunger strike in protest against the ill-treatment and poor conditions in prison. One of them, Orhan Eyubzade, was handcuffed at night to a cold radiator, and before that he was beaten in the Sabail police.
The action of protest was held on December 29 in connection with the bureaucratic arbitrariness whch led a disabled Karabakh war veteran, Zaur Hasanov, to suicide. -06B-
