The blockade of the sites of western radio in Azerbaijan continues (UPDATED)
For the second day continues the blockade of the sites of the radio "Voice of America" and Radio "Liberty" in Azerbijan, one of the most widely read and popular information resources in Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Communications, e-Security Center and main supplier of Internet in the country, Deltatelekom firm, do not comment what is happening. The access to the sites outside the country is open.
E-Security Center has the technical capabilities to immediately identify the cause of the lock if it occurs on someone's malicious intent. The refusal of the authorities to explain what is happening, means that the lock is under the control of the authorities.
It is hard to say for what purpose it is dome, but it is possible that the authorities are trying to reduce the area where the government is actively criticized for increasing tariffs for gas and light. However, on Facebook such criticism continues with success.
The access to the site of the only opposition newspaper "Azadlig", which works with large trouble, is also very difficult.-02В-

Baku, often called the "Caucasian Dubai," is increasingly known for systematic violations of residents' housing rights. During urban renovations and the construction of elegant new buildings, thousands of families in Azerbaijan’s capital have been unlawfully deprived of their homes. Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
