Baku/07.04.22/Turan: The "Club of Resource Economists" (RIK) has started its activity in Azerbaijan.
According to the organization, the Club was created with the aim of raising public awareness by providing high-quality and clear economic information, as well as focusing on socio-economic problems through comprehensive research. "The Club aims to unite young economists across the country to expand their knowledge and skills, as well as to increase the number of qualitative studies."
The report says that the idea of creating the club was conceived by a group of young economists, whose goal is to conduct research that can contribute to the sustainable development of the country's economy, as well as the formation of new young economic researchers in the country. "The Club undertakes to comply with the principles of transparency, high governance and accountability in the conduct of its activities."
It was noted that RIK aims to become an innovative and advanced center of economic thinking, which informs society and the public through research, seminars, discussions and other projects, as well as a source of reference information.
One of the main goals of RIK is to attract young economists to the Club who want to study constantly and have just graduated from school. "In this regard, RIK seeks to expand both the knowledge and skills of new economists and their network."
