The court announced the completion of the investigation in the "Nardaran case"

At today's  trial in the  "Nardaran case" protection once again put forward the petition. The lawyer Yalcin Imanov requested a return to the hall of the accused, research documents, summon of the  successors  of the policemen killed during a special operation in Nardaran November 26, 2015.

The lawyer also requested the exhumation of victims of policemen  to establish the circumstances of their death. He pointed out that the police body has not been subjected to examination. However, the judge rejected the request.

Then Imanov  read a message  of the accused to the judge Alovsat Abbasov, who did not allow them  to the trial, and  kept  them in a cool cellar of the court. The defendants regarded it as a continuation of the torture to which they were subjected in the Main Department of the Baku City Police.

Because of this 10 accused  got seriously sick. The defendants believe that Judge Abbasov will be remembered in history not only as a sadistic torturer. "Do not forget that we cannot be broken by any penalty,"   reads the appeal.  In response, the judge said that  in the basement  are kept not only the defendants in the "case of Nardaran", but other defendants.

Then the judge announced the  completion of the  trial.  But the lawyers protested, saying that the court did not conduct an objective investigation and requested consultations with the defendants.

After the break, the judge gave  the word to Thale Bagirzade who urged the court to investigate the authorship of the brochure, which is attributed to him.

"In this pamphlet there  are heavy words  about  Ilham Aliyev. I did not write this. This booklet was composed under the guidance of Ramil Usubov. If you complete the investigation without the study of the booklet, this means  the humiliation  of the President Ilham Aliyev," said Bagirzade. However, the judge stated that the judicial inquiry was completed.

In turn, the lawyers said that they still have a request. The  trial  will continue on December 26.

It should be noted that today  the accused stopped the hunger strike, which began on December 19 in protest against non-admitting them to the trial.–36C06--
