The court did not release the arrested refugees
An application for the release of five internally displaced persons from the Jebrail district under house arrest was rejected by the court, Turan was informed about by the lawyer Elchin Sadygov, who defends one of the accused Djalal Guliyev. The petition was examined in the Jebrail district court, which is located in Bilasuvar district. The court rejected the motion, without giving any reasons for its decision.
On December 22 in the settlements of IDPs in Bilasuvar district there was a protest action against electricity cut-off. The action was dispersed by the police. Five IDPs - Jalal Guliyev, Zaur Feyruzlu, Gyulaga Almamedov, Ulvi Guliyev and Ilkin Iskenderov were arrested on charges of damaging someone else's property and resisting the police.
