The court rejected a lawsuit of the ANS TV channel against the National Broadcasting Company
On 9 October the Administrative Economic Court of Baku N1 dismissed the lawsuit of the ANS TV channel against the National Broadcasting Company (NBC). The lawsuit was filed on the decision of 5 October to close the program "Salam Azerbaijan". Previously, NBC decided to close two more programs on the same channel - the current show "I am with you Khoshgadam" and "You are not alone." However, ANS did not appeal against the closure of these programs, although threatened. In addition the NBC imposed fines totaling 54 million manat for violation of the law "On Advertising".
It is noteworthy that the head of the ANS, Vahid Mustafayev, keeps silent all this time, and his deputy Mirshahin Agayev speaks on behalf of the channl. -02В-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads.
