The family of the deceased soldier is given an apartment and a private house is under construction
By the order of the Head of State, the family of National Hero Chingiz Gurbanov was given a three-room apartment in Baku. In addition, in Gusar region is given a land where a private house will be built for the family of Gurbanov. Earlier Ilham Aliyev received the parents and brother of the deceased soldiers and gave them a star of National Hero. Chingiz Gurbanov died heroically on December 29 last year during on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Soldier's body remained on the territory controlled by Armenians. For more than a month the Armenian side did not give the body of Gurbanov. Chingiz Gurbanov was buried on February 6 in the Alley of Martyrs in Gusar. The title of National Hero was awarded to him by the decree of February 7. During the aforementioned battle, three Armenian soldiers were killed and several more were wounded. On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
