Baku/20.11.23/Turan: The father of human rights activist Fuad Hasanov, a veteran of the first Karabakh war, surgeon Sarukhan Hasanov has fallen into a coma and is in the intensive care. On November 3, his health deteriorated sharply and he fell. Within two days, an ambulance came to him, but doctors refused to hospitalize him under the pretext of “no signs of a stroke” and only gave him painkillers.
After the third call, he was taken to hospital number 6; he fell into a coma with a diagnosis of sepsis. This infectious and inflammatory state is life-threatening, but medical intervention was limited in the city hospital and the patient was transferred to the private clinic Baku Medical Plaza. There, after dialysis, kidney function was restored. However, he will have to undergo long-term treatment and surgery.
From November 9 to this day, the family of the human rights defender has paid 19 thousand manats for treatment in a private clinic. However, the family is not able to pay all the costs of treatment.
