The Head of State awarded posthumously the policemen killed in Nardaran
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree awarding the Order of "Azerbaijan Bayragy" to Vugar Nasibov and Ismayil Tagiyev, the policemen killed the day before in Nardaran during a special operation against the believers.
Police officers were awarded for bravery shown during the neutralization of armed criminal group, acting under the guise of religious cover, and planned to overthrow the constitutional order.
On 2 November during a special operation in Nardaran four civilians and two police officers were killed, several people were injured; 14 people led by a theologian Thale Bagirzade were detained. -05D04-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
