The health of Mehman Huseynov stabilized
Baku/30.01.19/Turan: On January 30, family members visited blogger Mehman Huseynov in Baku jail N1. This was the first visit by relatives after the closure of a new criminal case against Mehman.
According to Mehman"s brother, Emin Huseynov, who is in political emigration, Mehman health has stabilized after a long hunger strike, but he lost 20 kg.
Emin said that Mehman refused the food brought to him, as he is on a restorative diet, and takes only liquid dairy products and fruit juices.
"Mehman is looking forward to his release in 33 days. After his release, he first of all intends to fully restore his health and return to his daily work," his brother said.
Emin also noted that after the closure of the new criminal case, lawyers were not allowed to see Mehman and limited telephone conversations with relatives. -06B--
