The lawyer denies the arrest of Jangir Hajiyev’s wife
The lawyer of Jangir Hajiyev, the arrested former head of the International Bank denied reports about the arrest of the banker's wife Zamira Hajiyeva. "These messages are not baseless, because Zamira Hajiyeva is abroad," said the lawyer Agil Laidjev, commenting on the publication of one of the sites on this topic. The lawyer is not aware of the presence of any decision on measures of restraint against Zamira Hajiyeva. The rumors appeared after the announcement that the decision to arrest was allegedly issued on June 1 by Narimanov court on presentation of the first Deputy Prosecutor General Rustam Usubov. The reason for the arrest was the illegal expenditure of 18,000 manats by Hajiyeva using IBA cards. The former chief of the International Bank, was arrested on5 December, 2015 by the decision of the Narimanov Court on charges of misappropriation, abuse of office power. -03B-
