The Ministry of Internal Affairs detained cybercriminals
Baku / 01.08.17 / Turan: The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on an operation against a group of 10 cybercriminals who stole money from bank cards of citizens. The investigation found that from the illegally obtaining bank cards of foreign citizens, group members made online payments in Azerbaijan, transferred large sums of money to other accounts, and also tried to steal money from the accounts of citizens. A lawsuit was filed on the fact under the Articles 177.2.3-1, 177.3.2 and 272.2.2 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The residents of Sumgayit were arrested: Ruzigar Beylyarov, Hamid Azimzade, Sabuhi Guliyev, a resident of Baku Elnur Agayev, a native of Lachin, Elkhan Abdulkerimov, and other members of the group, reads the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. -16D-

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35. The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees. Under this directive, refugees without alternative housing cannot be evicted until they are provided with a replacement residence by the Executive Authority.
