The number of foreigners arriving in the country increased by 10%
Baku / 19.07.18 / Turan: The number of people with refugee status in Azerbaijan increased by 23%, and reached 75 people for today, stated at a press conference on the results of the first six months, the head of the State Migration Service, Vusal Huseynov. According to him, for 1 July, 32648 persons live on a temporary basis and 11288 people live permanently, as foreigners and stateless persons who have permission. He said that during the reporting period, 322 inquiries were received in connection with the readmission of 640 Azerbaijani citizens living in foreign countries with uncertain status. With respect to 206 Azerbaijani citizens, readmission has been carried out.
Over six months 827,352 foreigners and stateless persons were registered in the country, which indicates an increase in the number of arrivals by 10%.
According to Huseynov, during the reporting period, 347,767 foreigners and stateless persons were registered at the place of their stay. Among foreigners and stateless persons who were granted a permanent residence permission, the increase by 25%, and it makes 1859 people. -03D-
