The prosecutor offered to condemn conditionally the accused of fire on the highway Zikh
Today Baku Serious Crimes Court at the trial in the case of the accused in connection with a fire in the 10-storey apartment building in Khatai district of Baku. In Baku there were several similar fires that burned polyurethane lined residential buildings. The ten-storey building on the highway Zikh on April 10, 2015, three people were injured.
In May of last year in this Farid Sadikhov – the head of the TNH actual head of the company, which produces and carries out liner, the director of this company Zaur Ashrafov and his deputy for the construction works Nusrat Mukhtarov, were brought to trial.
They were charged under Articles 225.2 (violation of fire safety regulations) and Article 308.2 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code, the Criminal Code. They were arrested by the court decision.
Today, the state prosecutor suggested to sentence Sadikhov and Ashrafov to three years of imprisonment conditionally, to apply Article 70 of the Criminal Code, and to release them from the courtroom. The prosecutor also asked for the termination of criminal proceedings against the accused died Mukhtarov. Lawyers asked to acquit the accused. Defendants asked for time to prepare for the last word.
