The trial of Khadija Ismail postponed
The meeting of the Binagadi Court on the lawsuit against the journalist Khadija Ismail on October 17 was postponed to 23 October.
Turan was told by the lawyer Elton Guliyev, the court received documents, whose origin is unknown, but they want to use them as evidence.
Therefore, the lawyer filed a motion for the withdrawal of the documents from the case. The court offered to prepare a written request by October 23.
In turn, Khadija Ismail told the reporter for Turan that the submitted paper cannot be evidence. According to her, the court is trying very hard in favor of the plaintiff, Elman Hasanov. Together with the Ministry of National Security and prosecutors they collect "evidence".
"This is not a trial, for the origin of the paper used is unknown," she said.
Note that we are talking about certificates from MNS and the prosecution, which says that the security services do not recruit people. The people mentioned in the documents published in the media who allegedly recruited Elman Hasanov for secret collaboration do not work in the Ministry of National Security.
Recall that the publications on these topics appeared in 2011 on Facebook, on behalf of the user nicknamed Mustafa Kozlu.
Later Khadija Ismayilova also used a document placed on Facebook, but she crossed out the names listed there. This was a reference from MNS, which stated that Elman Hasanov (Turkoglu) is an MNS agent. This notice had been placed by the former officer of MNS Ramin Naghiyev, who was granted political asylum in France.
Today Elman Hasanov argues that Mustafa Kozlu is a PFPA activist Natig Adilov and the editor of the newspaper Azadlig Ganimat Zahid, and he intends to file lawsuits against them, too. -16 / 03B-
