The next few days in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula, cloudy weather without precipitation will remain. In the morning and evening hours in some places fog is expected.
On Tuesday evening the southerly wind will change its direction to the north, and the temperature will stand at +2+7 deg. at night and +8 +13 deg. by day.
As reported by weather forecasters, in the central lowlands the night temperature will be 0+5 deg., and by day +10 +15 deg. In the mountains it will be 0-5 degrees at night and +3 +8 degrees by day. -16D-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads. Efforts to extinguish the fire are still ongoing.
