Three Murders Committed in Shirvan Area
At 10 a.m. on March 30 on the highway Ujar-Goychay there was a fatal car accident. The driver of the car VAZ21074 Farhad Abdullayev crashed into a tree and in serious condition was delivered to the district hospital. In the back of his car, police found his dead wife, 34-year-old Lamia Abdullayeva with multiple stab wounds.
As a result of the investigation it was established that Abdullayev killed his wife because of jealousy and tried to take the corpse from the crime scene. A criminal case was filed and the investigation is ongoing, said the Interior Ministry and the Prosecutor General's Office.
The same source said that on March 28 at 12 a.m. the owner of the cafe Ata Yurdu in Agsu was shot dead. This was committed by the previously convicted Ramiz Alekperov, who left the cafe in his car after the murder.
During the examination in his apartment another corpse was discovered - it was a local resident Sarkhan Sultanov.
Later, police found Ramiz Alekperov’s car with two sawn-off shotguns at the 119th km of the Baku-Shamakhi highway.
A criminal case was filed and Ramiz Alekperov is under search. -02D-
