Trial in the case of leaders of the Ministry of Communications
At the preparatory court trial in a criminal case against the former leadership of the Ministry of Communications on Wednesday were sounded sensational figures on the size of theft in this department. People brought to trial are: the former head of the Ministry, the Aztelekom LLC "Baku Telephone Communication", LLC AzİnTelekom, "Azerpocht", Optik Rabitə, and other structures. According to the investigation, the head of the Office of Vidadi Zeynalov forged documents misappropriated AZN 73.590 million with the participation of the other defendants. The money were embezzled by fraud and additions. In addition, 11 former employees of the Ministry of Communications are accused of embezzling 40 million manat.
