Two hundred and 45 high-rise buildings will be built on the site of old houses in Baku
Baku / 21.04.17 / Turan: It is planned to built in Baku in the next five years245 multi-storey apartment houses, with a total residential area of 2.6 million square meters. In these houses there will be 25.000 apartments, the chairman of the State Committee for Urban Development and Architecture Abbas Alasgarov said in an interview to the official newspaper "Inshaatchi" ("Stroitel").
According to him, new buildings will be erected on the site of the demolished and dilapidated buildings to be demolished in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of February 25, 2016 on improving the living conditions of citizens residing in such buildings.
The State Committee has already agreed 60 out of 80 territorial planning documents for construction. Work has begun on the demolition and resettlement of residents, said Aleskerov. In new homes they will be provided with 10%, 20%, and sometimes 30% more living space than before. -06D--
