Two Presentations of Book �From Soviet Camp to Azerbaijani Prison�
Baku / 04.11.18 / Turan: Political emigrants, the married couple Arif and Leyla Yunus will hold two presentations of their joint book "From the Soviet Camp to the Azerbaijani Prison" this month.
The book tells about political processes in Azerbaijan since the collapse of the USSR, the problem of human rights, political prisoners, their own twists and turns associated with political and human rights activities, about the days spent in prison from July 2014 to December 2015.
The book was published in Russian in the Polish city of Wroclaw by KEW and in German by the International PEN Club in Vienna.
The first presentation will take place on November 8 in Germany in the city of Esslingen, where the book festival will start on this day.
The second presentation will be held on November 15 in Vienna, where the International PEN Club and the public organization Writers in Prison hold an international day Writers in Prison.
The Yunusovs will present to the audience a list of political prisoners, also talk about the current state of civil society and the harassment of civic activists and journalists in Azerbaijan. -0-
