Two Tovuz Residents Blown Up on Mine
Baku / 07.08.18 / Turan: Two civilians were blown up today on a mine in the Tovuz region in the west of Azerbaijan (border with Armenia).
The incident occurred this morning on the contact line of troops passing through the village of Alibeyli.
24-year-old Elshad Mehdiyev and 14-year-old Elgun Huseynov were injured as a result of mine explosion, the chief doctor of the Tovuz Central District Hospital Pasha Muradov said.
Huseynov was amputated one leg. Mehdiyev's injuries are relatively easy.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
