"Unlocked" Website Faces Problems
Baku / 23.08.18 / Turan: The Sabail district court sent a warning to the arqument.az website, which says the website"s property can be seized. This was reported by the head of the website Shamshad Aga.
The fact is that in relation to this website there is no legally binding court decision of a restrictive nature.
"On August 8, the Sabail court made a decision to block the website I am running. Quite unexpectedly, our complaint was granted, and two days later, on August 10, the Baku Court of Appeal annulled the decision of the district court," the journalist said, noting that the warning received from the Sabail court is incomprehensible.
"On August 21, I received a letter sent on behalf of the executive officer of the Sabail Enforcement and Probation Department Tural Ashurov. The letter says the decision of the Sabail court regarding the website arqument.az is directed to execution. Within 10 days I have to answer them, otherwise the property will be seized."
The journalist believes there seems to be a communication problem between the courts and the executive structures and intends to submit the decision of the Baku Court of Appeal to this executive department.

Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
