Wasp-type Missile Fell on Azerbaijani Side
Baku / 28.04.17 / Turan: On April 27, a missile of the Osa (Wasp) air defense system launched from the Armenian side fell on the Azerbaijani positions. As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the incident occurred in Khojavend-Fizuli direction. The missile did not hit any targets and fell to an empty site. When inspecting the territory, parts of the 9M33M2 missile were found.
The Ministry of Defense regards the incident as a provocation by the Armenian side. The Armenian side has not yet made statements on this issue. -02D-
