Water supply disruptions in 9 districts of Baku until August 16
Due to repair work on the Oghuz-Gabala main water pipeline, the water supply schedule for Yasamal, Sabail, Nasimi, Binagadi, Sabunchi, Khazar, Surakhani, Ramana, and Pirallahi districts of Baku has been altered. Efforts are being made to supply water to the population from other sources, the Azerbaijan Water Resources Agency reported this on August 14.
According to the information, large-scale repair and restoration work has been ongoing on the Oghuz-Gabala line since the night of August 12. The same source reports that during this period, water trucks will be used to supply water to the residents of Baku's districts. The repair and restoration work on the Oghuz-Gabala line is expected to be completed by the evening of August 16.

During the joint operation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Border Service, Azerbaijani citizens Samit Mammadov and Hidayat Rashidov were detained in the Imishli region. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 134 kg of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances, as well as heroin, opium and 1,000 methadone tablets were found in their car. During the interrogation, the detainees testified that the drugs were hidden in the Imishli region by an Iranian citizen. Mammadov and Rashidov planned to deliver drugs to the capital for further sale.
