Baku/29.07.22/Turan: Weapons and ammunition abandoned by Armenian troops were found in Khojavend, the regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
During the activities of the local police department, three machine guns, two grenade launchers, one machine gun, one pistol, as well as 12 anti-tank and five anti-personnel mines, 30 grenade launcher shells, 2,318 cartridges of various calibers and other ammunition were found. --06B--

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
