Weather is expected to worsen – snow and decrease in temperature
Baku/06.02.23/Turan: From February 7, weather conditions in Azerbaijan will deteriorate sharply, forecasters of the Ministry of Ecology reported.
A cyclone with cold Arctic air will bring snow and low temperatures to Azerbaijan. On February 8, starting from the western regions, precipitation in the form of snow will take place. Heavy snowfalls are expected in mountainous areas, which will last until February 10.
North-western wind is expected to strengthen to terminate with blizzard. Air temperature in the reviewed period will drop by 5-10 degrees. There will be ice on the roads.
After the 10th, the weather will gradually stabilize. These days, the north-western wind will also increase in the capital.

Today, on September 26, a meeting is expected in New York between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia regarding peace negotiations. The meeting is set to take place with the participation of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The Secretary will bring the ministers together at a hotel in New York as part of the annual session of the UN General Assembly. This will be Blinken's second trilateral meeting with them on U.S. soil within three months. The last time the three diplomats met was during the NATO summit in Washington on July 10 of this year.
